Brief introduction of hydraulic actuator:
Hydraulic Actuator is the type of valve actuator that utilizes the hydraulic pressure as input in order to provide excitation to facilitate mechanical operation (the opening and closing of valve). According to various mechanical operations, it can be categorized into Rotating Hydraulic Actuator (mainly controls butterfly valve, ball valve and other 0-90° rotating opening valves), Linear Hydraulic Actuator (mainly controls globe valve, gate valve and other linear valve) and Multiple Rotary(screw down) Hydraulic Actuators (mainly controls the valve requires mechanical self-locking conditions).
Based on the mode of action, Hydraulic actuator can be categorized into double acting hydraulic actuator and single acting hydraulic actuator. Double acting hydraulic actuator - the opening and closing of the valve are all driven by the hydraulic pressure. Single acting hydraulic actuator - the opening or closing of the valve is driven by the hydraulic pressure, and a mechanical reset to returns the piston rod to its original state. Single acting hydraulic actuator can achieve three “cut-off” protection functions (automatically close or open the valve when the control signal, power, and electricity are blackout ).
For the consideration of some extreme working environments, Accutork also developed and manufactured immersion type hydraulic actuators. The Immersion type hydraulic actuators are able to work in 30-60 meters below the sea with high seawater corrosion resistance. This type of actuators products from our company has already widely used in shipbuilding, ocean engineering, tidal power generation and other special working conditions.
Design Features:
1)AT4 series rack & pinion and scotch yoke hydraulic actuators have the advantages of small size, durable, and high output efficiency with wide output torque range. The rack & pinion mechanism is used in small and medium torque hydraulic actuators. The scotch yoke type mechanism is used in high torque hydraulic actuators.
2)Hydraulic actuators have relatively small mass compare with pneumatic or electric actuators due to the high-pressure power of the hydraulic system.
3)Hydraulic power source is composed of fuel tank, motor, hydraulic pump, accumulator, and other special requirements from customers. It can excellently adapt to the situation of low power supply reliability and achieving different requirements from customers.
4 )Hydraulic control system is composed of pressure, flow, direction control valves and abundant electrical control components. The diversified combination can meet different functions and explosion-proof protection requirements.
5) The achievements of zero leakage and high-pressure retention in the control system and the incompressibility of the hydraulic liquid medium make our electro-hydraulic actuator have a very high stability.
6)Emergency self-protection functions can automatically open or close the valve during the power loss.
7)Valve quick closing and opening function.
8)In the high temperature flammable operating environment, non-flammable hydraulic liquid medium (such as EH oil, etc.) and the corresponding configuration of special sealing ring are used.
9)The high precision adjustment characteristics of the valve can be achieved by proportional and servo valves for high precision position and speed control.
